A quick 3-day gorilla trek starting and ending in Kigali, Rwanda with Adventures Beyond. Cross into Uganda to track mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with optional Ride for a Woman craft weaving or Batwa cultural visits.
Day by Day
The itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at the airport, transfer to the Ugandan border and to your lodge
Upon arrival at Kigali International airport, you will be met by our English speaking guide who will transfer you to the border to cross to Uganda. Upon clearance to enter Uganda, drive to the lodge approximately 5 hours, and check in. Lodge options: Buhoma lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking
In the morning, you will be transferred by your driver guide to the park headquarters to embark on your gorilla trek. After briefing, head out into the impenetrable Bwindi forests and look for the Mountain gorillas, upon finding them, spend only one hour watching them. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax. You have an afternoon to yourself and at your disposal are some activities you would like to take park in like visit Ride for a woman and learn how to weave and make other handy crafts, or visit the batwa. Day 3: Drive to Rwanda
You will be transferred back to Rwanda- Kigali international Airport for your departure flight. End of safari.
