Where the Nile forces through a seven-metre gap
Uganda
Murchison Falls National Park

About this place
Uganda's largest national park, wrapped around the Victoria Nile as it thunders through a narrow cleft and drops forty metres into the gorge below. Game drives on the northern bank meet boat safaris on the river — elephants, giraffes, buffalo and hippos along the water, and the falls themselves shaking the air.
